Back to Never Forgoten Biff Brothers
Jason Hunsaker passed away in December of 1994 at the young age of 20 years old from a deadly virus call the Hantavirus.
Jason got infected with the virus while attending a Boy Scout jamboree and passed away the following day.
Jason is the son of long time Biff Brother Jim Hunsaker and the stepson of Jeff “Biff” Kuells.
Jason was only able to attend the Mission for 2 years but he played a huge role in helping Jeff prepare the Mission.
He spent countless hours at a very young age loading trailers and trucks hoping someday he would be able to attend.
We he turned 18 he finally got his chance to go and he had the time of his life. He knew what happened on the Mission stayed on the Mission, lol!
Jason was a kind person and would help anyone. He truly was everyone’s bud. Jason had an inspiring smile that no matter what was going on he could make something funny.
Jason's brother Kyle has been going on the Mission, not to fill Jason shoe’s, but to share in the stories to keep his spirit alive.
Kyle shares that same inspiring smile, continually reminding us of Jason. His death was and still is a tragic loss to the Biff Brothers and especially his family.
Jim, Jeff and Art, a longtime family friend take a fishing trip every year on Jason's birthday reminiscing and wondering how it could have been.
He may only have been a Biff Brother on paper for 2
years but he truly is a Biff Brother for life.
We will always miss
him!
